Narrative // Embryonale Herzentwicklung mit Hilfe von Virtual Reality
The thesis investigates whether medical students gain a better understanding of embryonic heart development through the use of virtual reality compared to learning with traditional medical literature. The study’s results highlight that 2D illustrations in textbooks are often insufficient to fully convey the spatial and temporal changes occurring during heart development. VR enables users to experience and interact with the process in a three-dimensional space, leading to a deeper understanding.
